Krupp Mobile Cranes is a subsidiary of THYSSEN-KRUPP AG, a $27 billion German steel and machinery conglomerate.
- Restructured company with 2000 employees and annual sales of $500 million to adapt to contraction of markets, which had
explosively grown in the wake of the German reunification.
- Downsized company to 60% of its peak capacity, and substantially flattened its hierarchy.
- Reduced product lead-time from 6 to 3 months.
- Implemented these changes in an extremely hostile labor environment without work stoppages.

BOMAG was a subsidiary of United Dominion Industries Limited in Charlotte, NC
- Led Company with 2100 employees and annual sales of $800 million through a major evolutionary step which transformed
BOMAG from being a candidate for divestiture to being the world leader in its field as well as the top performer in terms
of return of shareholder equity within the corporation.
- Implemented lean manufacturing and successfully made necessary changes to organizational structure, product range/design
and operational processes.
- Acquired and successfully integrated a major US competitor. This acquisition led to substantial gains in market share
and profitability in the US market.
- Negotiated joint ventures in Russia, China and India.

PRESIDENT BOMAG AMERICAN OPERATIONS / SPRINGFIELD, OHIO 1981 - 1987
This subsidiary of BOMAG INC. was engaged in manufacturing, sales and service of construction equipment in North and South
America. Its market share and profitability had continuously fallen for 10 years. I was the seventh president during that
time period.
- Led Company through a major restructuring phase reducing employee count by 30%.
- Rebuilt Canadian and US distribution network.
- Increased revenue from $10 million to $100 million within four years.
- Returned operation to profitability within one year.
- Attained market leadership in Canada and the US within four years.

- Coordinated and led BOMAG’s worldwide marketing, sales and service organization.
